Laurieton Men's Shed is all about "caring about men's health" by keeping retired men busy in our workshops and by assisting members by way of visiting medical organisations such as Mental Health, Australian Hearing and different Specialists.

The objects of the Shed are to advance the health and well-being of our members by providing a safe and happy environment where skilled and unskilled men can, in the company of other men,

(a) Pursue hobbies, pastimes and interests

(b) Learn new skills, practice and pass on old skills

(c) Learn about their own and other men’s health and well-being

(d) By their efforts, contribute to their families, their friends, the Shed and their community

(e) Mentor younger men

Recent Accomplishments of Laurieton Men's Shed:

LMS have had Community Health, Australian Hearing, Mental Health and all diferent trades people talk to our members as a group. There are outings to different industries and work places in order to educate our members. LMS just finished fitting out a local school with new seats which were built by our members for a small donation.
